libcddb-perl software package provides module to query CDDB and freedb servers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcddb-perl
libcddb-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcddb-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcddb-perl *
You will get with libcddb-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
